Students of B.Sc. IT from Suryadatta College of Management, Information Research & Technology (SCMIRT), recently visited ESBEE Electrotech LLP, a reputed name in industrial control systems and electrical safety devices, recognized both nationally and internationally.
The visit provided students with practical exposure to real-time production processes, including assembly, wiring, and testing stages. They explored technical equipment, quality control methods, and automation standards, enriching their understanding of industrial operations.

Suryadatta College of Management, Information Research & Technology (SCMIRT), recently organized an insightful industrial visit to the Auto Cluster Development & Research Institute (ACDRI), Pimpri-Chinchwad. The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and understanding of industrial processes.
Students explored key departments such as the Incubation Center, Quality Control Lab, and Welding Center, witnessing cutting-edge technologies including 3D printers, CNC machines, CMM machines, and robotic welding arms in live operation. They interacted with industry experts and gained valuable insights into current trends, technological advancements, and career opportunities in the industrial sector.

Students gained hands-on exposure to advanced equipment like 3D printers, CNC machines, CMMs, and robotic welding arms, while interacting with industry experts on automation, quality control, and innovation. Students of SCMIRT visited the Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale manufacturing unit in Ranje, Maharashtra. The industrial visit offered valuable insights into the company’s automated production processes, customer satisfaction strategies, and quality management systems. Students observed the making of iconic products like Bakarwadi, with emphasis on hygiene and consistent quality. With a workforce of over 350 and a network of 75+ franchises, ChitaleBandhu remains a leader in the FMCG sector. The visit also highlighted the company’s focus on automation, sustainability, and employee welfare, enriching students’ understanding of modern industrial practices.

The purpose of this field visit was to gain insights into the operations, programs, and impact of ‘UMED Pariwar’ an organization dedicated to supporting mentally retarded adults. This report outlines observations, interactions, and findings from the visit.

The students’ observations highlighted the NGO’s commitment to providing quality care and support for mentally retarded adults. Despite facing certain challenges, the organization effectively manages to create a nurturing and empowering environment for its residents. The visit offered meaningful learning experiences for the students and underscored the importance of continued support and development in the field of disability services

Industrial Visit to Katraj Dairy & Chitale Bandhu Enhances Students’ Experiential Learning

Suryadatta Public School organized an Industrial Visit to Katraj Dairy and Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale on 31st October 2025 to enhance students’ experiential learning.
Students from all streams, accompanied by faculty members, explored milk processing, packaging, and quality testing at Katraj Dairy, and observed the Bhakarwadi production process at Chitale Bandhu.
The visit, coordinated by Mrs. Ashwini Deshpande, offered valuable industry insights under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay B. Chordiya, Mrs. Snehal Navlakha, and Dr. (Mrs.) Kiran Rao, making it a memorable and educational experience.
