Suryadatta College NSS Camp Concludes Successfully at Kule Village
The seven-day NSS Special Winter Camp organized by Suryadatta College of Management Information Research & Technology and Suryadatta College of Hospital Management, Travel & Tourism was successfully held at Kule village, Mulshi Taluka. Around 50 NSS volunteers actively participated under the theme “Youth-led Water Conservation and Development of Fallow Land for Sustainable Development.”
Volunteers carried out cleanliness drives, tree plantation, awareness rallies on social issues, health initiatives, village surveys, and Shram Sanskar activities, winning the appreciation of local villagers. Expert sessions on mental health, youth development, women empowerment, nutrition, and personality development added academic and social value to the camp.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Group of Institutes, appreciated the volunteers’ dedication and emphasized the importance of grassroots learning and social responsibility. The camp concluded successfully with the support of village dignitaries, institute leadership, and NSS coordinators.
Mistiva 1.0 – Bazaar Buzz Receives Overwhelming Response at Suryadatta
Mistiva 1.0 – Bazaar Buzz, organized by Suryadatta Group of Institutes under Suryadatta College of Management, Information, Research and Technology ,
received an overwhelming response from students and visitors. The intercollegiate academic and cultural initiative provided students with hands-on exposure to entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, and customer engagement.
Creative stalls featuring handicrafts, fashion accessories, jewellery, and food products added vibrancy to the event, while active participation from faculty and guests made it a grand success.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya emphasized the importance of practical skills and real-world business exposure for students in today’s rapidly evolving global market.



Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Rajmata Jijau Jayanti & National Youth Day Celebration
Suryadatta Group of Institutes celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Rajmata Jijau Jayanti, and National Youth Day with great enthusiasm. The program began with the lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to the great personalities.
Faculty members highlighted the inspiring teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the leadership values of Rajmata Jijau, encouraging students to develop confidence, courage, and a sense of responsibility towards society.
Students actively participated in the celebration through speeches and cultural activities, making the event inspiring and meaningful for everyone. The celebration motivated students to follow the ideals of these great leaders and contribute positively to society.
NAAC Accrediation Process Workshop
Progressive Education Society’s MCASC & Suryadatta Group of Institutes’ SCMIRT organized a workshop on ‘NAAC Accreditation Process’ dated 5th March 2020, Thursday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, in Radhakrishnan Hall. Our Students and Faculty members enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Dr. Sanjay Kaptan, Dr. Madhavi Kulkarni and Dr. Hansraj Thorat were Resource Persons for the Workshop.
The workshop started with inaugural speech by Principal Dr. Abbas Lokhandwala (SCMIRT). Dr. Sanjay Kaptan in his session emphasized upon preparation for NAAC Peer Team Visit.
Dr. Madhavi Kulkarni explained about the role and setting of IQAC. She highlighted that IQAC plays key role in decision making process.
Dr. Hansraj Thorat conducted a session wherein he focused on role of teaching and non-teaching Faculty members at the time of NAAC Peer Team Visit. He explained about each stakeholder role at the NAAC peer team visit.
Visit of Suryadatta BSc.Animation students to Instil Media, a one of its kind Sound Recording Studio with Foley Sound Recording Facility in Pune to learn the techniques, technical aspects, and processes involved in sound recording.
